Counseling
(60% of proceeds are used to provide financial assistance to families for mental health services.)
Hope4MentalHealth.org provides financial assistance to families, anywhere in the U.S., who cannot otherwise afford proper treatment and services for children with mental and emotional disorders. These services include, but are not limited to, psychological counseling, psychiatry, and medication.
To receive services, the following steps are taken:
- Hope4MentalHealth.org is contacted by a family.
- A licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) will conduct an intake assessment and determine the family's need for financial support.
- Upon determination of need, the child will be evaluated by a child psychologist in the network for initial counseling to establish the child's need for treatment and services.
- The social worker and family will work with the family to devise an individual plan for the child.
- Pre-approved professionals in Hope4MentalHealth.org's network will be referred and contacted for treatment.
- Upon diagnosis, the cost for diagnosis and treatment will be paid directly to the provider.
- The social worker will provide ongoing case management for the child.
